Schoolhouse Kirchaitnach awaked to new life
On 1 September 2008 the three-year-slumber of the school Kirchaitnach ended. The government of Niederbayern had dissolved the parish of Kirchaitnach with the ending of the school year 2005/2006, because the formation of classes was not feasible, due to a massive decline in student numbers.
The individual floors are now used for separate purposes.

Since September children's laughter moved in on the ground floor once again. The teacher Manuela Sadriu from Arnbruck and children's nurse from Marina Robl Bodenmais opened the large day care center "Dandelion" for children from 0 to 10 years. This is mainly an offer for working parents and does not compete with the nursery, but is intended to supplement the opening times of the kindergarten and the school. The large daycare has received a lot of money and items, above all kinds such as toys, cotts, tableware, handicraft stuff, etc. from people.

| In the basement of the school, the playground and toddler groups Kollnburg and Kirchaitnach were combined under the direction of Louise Gärtling. Currently there are over 20 toddlers with their mothers cared of. |

Furthermore, the Volkshochschule Kollnburg offers courses and seminars for the population since December. Many different courses are offered.

| The former school gym will continue to be used by our clubs. In particular, the Federation of Women Kirchaitnach and the country youth Kirchaitnach with its dance groups "Black Diamonds", the "Dancing Mice", and the "Crazy Girls" practice their dances here. |
